Hanging with friends

How are you? I’m hanging with friends since we have a wonderful visit from Slovenia!

In the meantime I’m also sorting out some clothes for swapping.

I have found some groups on Facebook that arrange clothes swapping in Uppsala. As they say swapping is the new shopping!

New training clothes – nytt för sport

Kläderna kommer faktiskt från Lidl. Bra kvalitet till lågt pris och dessutom märkta med confidence in textiles :

Så ovanligt att se märkningar på kläder överlag och dessutom på träningskläder. Jag har en länk i bloggen till föreningen medveten konsumtion och deras översikt över märkningar för textilier!

Finding the inspiration

What do you do to find inspiration for your art when you don’t feel like it?

Sometimes I think we just need to listen to what we WANT! At least this is what I try to do. I don’t want the things I love to become a burden, a MUST.

Rehearsing with Edenroad gives me the joy of music since we rehearse and record on a regular basis. And sometimes my guitar gets a few weeks off here at home. One day the inspiration comes back.

Att spela tillsammans med Edenroad, ger mig alltid glädje till musiken. Regelbundna träffar med rep eller inspelning. Ibland får gitarren lite semester här hemma tills inspirationen kommit tillbaka!

Dropbox- A sharing folder!

Det finns mängder av bra program som underlättar vardagen på olika sätt och jag har ännu inte kommit igång med min nya kategori social media. Ni kommer väl ihåg detta?

Dropbox är ett bra program när du vill dela lite större filer som tex foton eller musikfiler som mp3 eller wav. När du som jag håller på med musik är det ett smidigt sätt att dela bilder med ditt band eller lägga över senaste mixningen i form av en mp3 eller wav.

Du kan också använda dropbox som backup, du har inte så mycket plats gratis men det kan fungera till en mindre mängd. Det finns möjlighet att upgradera mot en viss kostnad. Läs här.

Fördelen med att använda sig av en molntjänst är att du kan nå denna folder oberoende av var du är. Givetvis finns dropbox till mobilen. Jag har funnit en manual på svenska, den hittar du här.

Dropbox is a very good program for you to share big files such as photos or, as a musician, mp3- files or wav-files. This has been very helpful since I want to share something with my band, such as photos or the latest audio mix down. Just put it in a folder.

It’s also a good way of having a small backup, of course you can always buy a bigger storage in the cloud. Since this solution is in the cloud you can reach it from wherever you are. They do have an app.

Whatever it takes #Edenroad

This is a song I wrote around 2005 called Whatever it takes. The song is performed with my duo, me and Frida, Edenroad.

I just love to arrange some of my songs in this way that Frida sings the lead and I do the chorus. Frida has also let me sing the lead in some of her songs.

Casual easter #outfit

 

I hope you all had a wonderful time during Easter. So this is another part of Sweden called Dalarna. This day I wore a second hand bolero/cardigan and a pair of second hand jeans. I combined it with a black and white stripes t-shirt and also the leather boots.
