// Listen to these songs of the Swedish band of Doktor Kosmos, singing mainly in Swedish with really fun but also deep lyrics. And if you don’t know Swedish I think you still can enjoy the music.

The second song is a cover made by my hubbie Magnus, really good, don’t you think?

Whatever it takes #Edenroad

This is a song I wrote around 2005 called Whatever it takes. The song is performed with my duo, me and Frida, Edenroad.

I just love to arrange some of my songs in this way that Frida sings the lead and I do the chorus. Frida has also let me sing the lead in some of her songs.

Live video – The body is a shield

So this is a live performance of the song “The body is a shield”, follow the link to read the lyrics of the song.

The performance was in a town nearby Uppsala, Enköping. I’m really happy to have recorded lives performances it is fun to share and to watch! I can still remember the feeling I had on stage performing this song, the audience was so quite, the light of the scene was right in my eyes so I only could see their shadows … Just in the right mood for this song!

You will find my channel on youtube, Sadness Theory and friends!

Inspiration from the people around me…

The inspiration to write music can come from the people around me as well as my one life and experiences.

When my sister took a break from her life and traveled I got very inspired so when I was about to see her again I wrote the song “Homecoming queen“. Ofcourse as always I weave reality together with poetry and imagination, so everything is not literal. One of the verses says:

You’re the homecoming queen, you’re all made of dreams, a dream of leaving everything behind you.

Homecoming queen, recorded in my living room:

// My performance will be the 14th of september in Uppsala, Wahlmstedtska gården at 2:30 p.m . There will also be other activities there and all over town cause it’s “Kulturnatten”, Night of culture. Check out the video from last year!

Cheers 🙂

Plastic Fantastic- Lyrics and live video

Plastic Fantastic
As I walk down the street
I pass by a homeless
selling magazines, in the town I live in.

I don’t even see her there,
I rather spend my money,
on this just in, the designer’s fancy things.

Oh, oh, that’s how I make my way,
Oh, oh, that’s how I make my way,
Oh, oh, that’s how I make my way, yeah yeah,
to the plastic fantastic paradise illusion x2

My mentality is provoking,
cause I live to consume,
that’s how I feel good, this is what I been taught.

I stand on the edge
of a world that is broken,
no escape has been spoken but all this I ignore.

Recycling a few cans
is not solution
what happens to the things that I no longer wish?
Is there a heaven
for my old sofa
or who would want the clothes that I’m so tired of?

Oh, oh, that’s how I make my way…

Stick:
What do we do to earth every day?
Well I move to Mars, I don’t have to stay!
