Kortfilmerna visas separat innan spelningen med bandet The Hanged Man.
Uppsala Konsert & Kongress Sal C
Hur? Biljetter kostar 100 kronor och köps via Uppsala Konsert & Kongress
Short film and concert 14 February
I do usually post events from the sport film festival association in Uppsala since I receive their news letter.
This time in collaboration with Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, the Uppsala International Short Film Festival arranges a concert combined with a short film screening. The short films are screened separately before the concert with The Hanged Man. The films have been selected because they in different ways interpret the music by the band.
When? 14 February at 19:30
Where? Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, hall C
How? Tickets cost 100 SEK and are bought through Uppsala Konsert & Kongress
Just a wonderful song of a cool artist. Love her deep dark voice 🙂 and of course the sadness.
No, I don’t present you the latest artists. My main focus is being on the other side, I’m focusing on producing music. But of course I need the input and some artists are very inspiring.
Some lyrics:
Kiss me hard before you go
Summertime sadness
I just wanted you to know
That, baby, you’re the best
I got my red dress on tonight
Dancing in the dark in the pale moonlight
Done my hair up real big beauty queen style
High heels off, I’m feeling alive
Oh, my God, I feel it in the air
Telephone wires above are sizzling like a snare
Honey, I’m on fire, I feel it everywhere
Nothing scares me anymore
// Lana Del Rey- Summertime sadness.
I want to share with you music that I love, and Regina Spektor is such a wonderful artist!
Here’s the song “You’ve got time”, that apperas as the theme song of the Netflix series “Orange is the New Black”.
Imagine that my music has been compared to her, *blush*. The lyrics:
The animals, the animals
Trapped, trapped, trapped ’till the cage is full
The cage is full
Stay awake
In the dark, count mistakes
The light was off but now it’s on
Searching the ground for a bitter song
The sun is out, the day is new
And everyone is waiting, waiting on you
And you’ve got time
And you’ve got time
Think of all the roads
Think of all their crossings
Taking steps is easy
Standing still is hard
Remember all their faces
Remember all their voices
Everything is different
The second time around
The animals …
// En mycket bra låt av Regina Spektor, “You’ve got time”.
What do you think about this song? It’s kind of catchy, right? Well, I like it, it’s a good song.
The lyrics have kind of a good message but in the same way I don’t like the part with skinny bitches. I think that we all have different types of bodies and with a certain disposition. You know too somebody who can eat really everything but they don’t get fat , right? Of course it’s about habits too but there’s also different body types. So I mean even the skinny bitches have the right to be as they are, not exactly their fault that the ideal is their body type.
The second thing is that it’s still about our looks and by ours I mean the women. A pair of good looks is nothing without personality, right? But this is mainstream so, still a good song!
All about that bass, the video:

Vad tycks?
As some of you know one of my goals for a more sustainable living is to minimize the amount of products I use. For my daily routines for makeup, facial care, hair care.
But now and then I do buy and try something new and will make a review on the blog. I have some upcoming reviews on organic products and want to clarify that they are my own opinion.
I have no profit from the blog what do ever and I haven’t gotten any products for free. And if I would of course I would let you know.
The only reason I have the blog and the website is my passion for music and environment and therefore sustainable living.
//
// A folk music event in Uppsala in October that also have a chance to attend a workshop in folk music with guitars. We also attended a world known folk music band Väsen.
I want to share this amazing song with you from the Pierces, two musicians that also are systers. It’s called Secret.
Lyrics
Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you’ll save
Better lock it in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave
If I show you then I know you won’t tell what I said
‘Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is deadWhy do you smile like you’ve been told a secret?
Now you’re telling lies ’cause you have sworn to keep it
But no one keeps a secret
No one keeps a secret
Why when do our darkest deeds do we tell?
They burn in our brains, become a living hell
Because everybody tells
Everybody tells
Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you’ll save
Better lock it in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave
If I show you then I know you won’t tell what I said
‘Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead
Look into my eyes, now you’re getting sleepy
Are you hypnotized by secrets that you’re keeping?
I know what you’re keeping
I know what you’re keeping
Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you’ll save
Better lock it in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave
If I show you then I know you won’t tell what I said
‘Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead
You swore you’d never tell x 4
Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you’ll save
Better lock it in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave
If I show you then I know you won’t tell what I said
‘Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead(X3)
Yes, two can keep a secret if one of them is dead
Yes, two can keep a secret if one of us is dead
I like this concept I saw at a hotel bar in Uppsala. Over the pickup there’s this sign saying that you are free to play music.
Lovely initiative not only as a nice deco detail but also for the guests.
