The good guide is another database aiming to help consumers find safe products for their daily care. I previously wrote about Skindeep and then I heard about good guide so I had to try this one as well (thank you Frida!)
As a search tool I found that I could trace more products of interest for me than the Skindeep database and could see that some of my daily products are not very good environmentally or in other aspects. So although this was good (to find, I mean) when I tried to search for alternatives although I searched for a very specific product (compact powder) in the high rated lists it showed all kinds of products so finally I got bored. You know, having to go through all the results page by page.
With a new try I hit “compact powder” on the search screen directly and get the results with only compact powder. It has to be easy for consumers to find good products for nobody wants to put a lot of their time to search each mystery ingredient after another. So I appreciate easy solutions!
What are you thoughts when you try?

Visserligen gav den inte så bra resultat över de jag använder dagligen och de är väl de viktigaste för mig, så nästa steg var att söka efter ett alternativ. Det gick inte så bra att söka efter något specifikt i topplistan, att bläddra sida efter sida av sökresultat är så tråkigt så jag avbröt.
Söker jag nu direkt i sökfältet efter puder så kommer enbart resultat på mitt sökord. Det är så viktigt att det ska vara enkelt för konsumenten att kolla upp för ingen har ork och tid att söka igenom hela listor med ingredienser. Jag uppskattar de som gör det (trodde inte heller jag skulle göra sådana sökningar) och hoppas att flera av er som läser har nytta av infon. Och det allra bästa vore att skadliga kemikalier helt förbjuds i kosmetika och hygienprodukter, jag vägrar vara en försökskanin!
